Fields of Mistria Gift Guide: Favorites Guide

The complete Fields of Mistria gift guide is below. Open any character to see their Loved, Liked, Disliked, and Hated gifts before you hand over a rare item. You can give each NPC one gift per day, so a quick check here helps every visit count.

Universal gift rules

Most gifts are character-specific. The Likeable and Lovable infusions are the exception: Candied Queen Berries, Chicky Hot Chocolate, Floral Tea, and Tulip Cake are Likeable; Cow-Shaped Donut, Queen Berry Pie, and Scent of Spring are Lovable. The Likeable Cooking and Lovable Cooking skills can also apply the matching infusion while cooking.

Floral Tea cannot be given to Dell, Luc, Maple, Dozy, or Henrietta because it contains caffeine. Chicky Hot Chocolate can still be given to Dozy and Henrietta. Infusions never override banned-gift rules.

Junk items, bugs, and Weird Gifts are common dislikes, but the directory lists every character's exceptions. Dell, Luc, and Maple cannot receive alcohol, caffeine, or bombs. Dozy and Henrietta cannot receive alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, or bombs.

A practical gift routine

Choose a character, check their Loved gifts first, then use a Liked gift when you already have one in your inventory. Save limited ingredients and rare materials for the goals that matter to your current save. On a birthday, give a gift the character likes or loves for the extra friendship points.

Build a gift route from the item you already own

Start with your inventory rather than a character name when you are planning a busy day. Search the Gift Finder for the item, note which residents Love or Like it, and choose the person whose location is already near your next errand. This turns one piece of forage, cooking, or mining output into a practical route instead of sending you across town for a perfect present.

Keep three small storage groups at home: everyday gifts, birthday gifts, and items reserved for requests or recipes. The distinction matters because a rare ingredient can be a strong present and a required cooking component on the same day. Before you leave, read the request log, check the map, and take only the items you can safely spare. Return unused gifts to the correct chest when the route is complete.

Handle universal rules carefully

Likeable and Lovable infusions create useful shared options, but they do not override banned-gift rules. Children and animals have special restrictions, and several residents cannot receive alcohol, caffeine, chocolate, or bombs. When a universal item is convenient, check the character's expanded entry first. A short preference check prevents a negative reaction and protects the friendship progress you planned to earn.

Use birthdays as a multiplier on a normal route

Record birthdays from the character profiles, then prepare one confirmed Loved or Liked item before the date arrives. On the day itself, check the live map and combine the delivery with the Request Board, a shop run, or a museum stop. The birthday should improve an existing route, not force you to abandon every other task. If the character is not at the expected building, follow the map instead of handing the item to another resident by mistake.

Keep relationship pages connected

The complete directory answers the gift question, while the individual character profiles answer where to go and how romance milestones work. Use both pages together: select a safe item here, open the profile for the current location and birthday, then return to the directory when you need to compare another resident. This separation keeps the lists complete without making every character page repeat the entire table.

How many gifts can I give each day?

Plan for one gift per NPC per day, then use conversations and route timing to make the visit worthwhile.

What should I do with a rare ingredient?

Check active requests and recipes first. Keep the item in storage until you know it is safe to give, then choose a Loved or Liked recipient from the directory.
