Get your first rod
Start fishing by purchasing or crafting a Fishing Rod. The Worn Fishing Rod costs 500 Tesserae at the Tackle Shop, just left of the Beach.
Craft the Copper Fishing Rod at the Blacksmith with 4 Copper Ingots after unlocking the Mines and reaching Blacksmithing Level 4.
How to fish
Find a fish shadow, select the rod, then hold the left mouse button or controller X button to set cast distance. Release to throw the line.
Fields of Mistria legendary fish
Cherry Fish appears at a small pond in spring on a windy cherry-blossom day. Leaf Fish appears at a small river in fall on a windy falling-leaf day. Lightning Fish appears at a medium river in summer during a storm or thunderstorm. Snow Fish appears at a medium ocean in winter during a blizzard.
Bait, a special rod, and a catch-rate formula are not listed as requirements for these four fish. Match season, weather, body of water, and fish size first.
